Man dies in crash on Dishman-Mica Road

A man died after his car went of Dishman-Mica Road in Spokane Valley Tuesday and rolled.

The crash happened near 19th Avenue around 1 p.m., said Spokane County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Mark Gregory. It appears that the car continued for an “extended distance” after it went off the road, Gregory said. The driver was ejected after the car rolled and died at the scene.

Speed and road conditions do not appear to have been a factor. Investigators are looking at whether the man may have suffered a medical issue, Gregory said. He does not appear to have been wearing a seat belt.

The man’s identity will be released by the Spokane County Medical Examiner after an autopsy.
