Obituary: Slater, Christine Annette

Age 63

SLATER, Christine Annette (Age 63) Of Greenacres, passed away Friday, November 20, 2015.

She was born December 14, 1951 in Spokane, WA to Donald and Sue Slater and lived in the Spokane area for most of her life.

She graduated from Central Valley High School in 1971 and continued her education at Spokane Community College.

She was an excellent artist and worked as a designer at Huntwood Cabinets at Liberty Lake for several years.

She loved to be outdoors and especially loved to work and share her garden.

She had a great compassion for any kind of animals and helped at a local veterinary clinic.

She was kind, loyal, generous, and loving.

She has family and many lifelong friends who loved her dearly and will miss having her with us.

She is survived by her sister Cathy (Slater) and Wendell Adams, Ron and Brenda Waggoner; nine nieces and nephews: Wendy, Jennie, Todd, Jeff, Mike, Sandy, Brook, Jack and Daniel; and 34 great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her great love, Don Hanson; her Father and Mother (Don and Sue Slater); and sister Linda Waggoner.

Funeral services will be held November 28, 2015 at 3:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 21022 E. Wellesley Ave., Otis Orchards, WA.

Viewing will be available Friday, November 27, 2015 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Thornhill Valley Chapel, 1400 S. Pines.
