Obituary: Yates, Joe D. Jr

YATES, Joe D. Jr (Age 68) Of Spokane, Washington, passed away Sunday night, November 23, 2015 surrounded by his family.

He was born February 27, 1947, in Spokane Washing-ton.

Joe was the owner of a Residential and Commercial Construction Company for more than 40 years.

He enjoyed restoring furniture in his spare time and inventing tools for his passion of woodwork.

He also enjoyed spending time with family and his grandchildren.

He was also an active member of his congregation.

He is survived by his nine children: Tanya Yates of Spokane, Washington, Jeremey Yates of Las Vegas, Nevada, Kelly Yates of Las Vegas, Nevada, Amy (Gregg) Brantner of Spokane, Washington, Jolene Yates of Spokane, Washington, Christina Yates of Phoenix, Arizona, Brandon Yates of Spokane, Washington, Kyle (Amanda) Yates of Spokane, Washington and Andrea Dickstadt of Spokane, Washington; 16 grandchildren; two siblings, Jerry (Shannon) Yates of Spokane, Washington and Sharon Yates of Spokane, Washington; and many other loving nieces, nephews and relatives.

Memorial services for Joe D. Yates Jr will be held at 7:00 pm, Sunday, November 29, 2015 at Greenacres Kingdom Hall located at 18145 E. Desmet Avenue, Spokane Valley, Washington.
