Pac-12 volleyball: Colorado edges Washington State in five sets

Alexis Austin finished with 24 kills and five blocks Wednesday as Colorado (18-13, 10-9) outlasted Washington State 19-25, 25-13, 25-20, 19-25, 18-16 in Pac-12 volleyball at Boulder, Colorado.

Kyra Holt of the Cougars (16-15, 5-14) had her 13th double-double of the season, finishing with 15 kills, 11 digs, six blocks and three aces. WSU’s Haley MacDonald added 42 assists, 13 digs and six blocks, and McKenna Woodford had 13 kills, 12 digs and two aces.

WSU will complete its conference season Saturday night at Washington.

Washington 3, Utah 0: Tia Scambray finished with 10 kills as the second-ranked Huskies (27-2, 17-2) cruised past the host Utes (10-20, 4-15) at Salt Lake City.

Katy Beals and Bailey Tanner added 16 assists apiece for the Huskies. UW’s Courtney Schwan and Cassie Strickland had 10 digs apiece.
