Representatives work hard

Thanks to Donna O’Leary for her Nov. 18 letter defending and supporting how hard Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers works for all of us. In his Nov. 12 letter, Doug Burr accuses our congresswoman of not working hard enough. What a joke.

Has Burr been to Washington, D.C.? If he would go there (as my wife and I have done numerous times), he would see just how hard Cathy and our congressmen and women work for our nation. Their days begin early and often last long into the evening; day after day. I don’t know how they do it. Then, when Cathy is back in our state, she is busy traveling and attending meetings all over our district.

Whether you agree with Cathy or not on issues, you must admit that she and our other congressmen and women are working hard for our state and nation.
