Obituary: Denton, Richard Dennis
Rick was born in 1951 in Spokane, WA to Elmer David Denton and Barbara (Bulloch) Denton.
Rick was very loving and well loved by many family, friends and pets.
At age 13, Ricky’s mom bought him a guitar and taught him to use his gifted ear to pick out tunes he wanted to learn.
Rick always gave 110% working for Finisher’s Local # 72 for 45 years.
Outside of work and after retirement, he knew how to play: fishing, camping, biking, woodworking, helping family and friends, making fun food and treats, playing Scrabble, socializing, last but not least play guitar!
Where he changed our lives was by making us all stop, listen and enjoy the fruits of his labor while waiting for the guitar man’s next choice of song!
He is survived by his wife Pamela (Severson) Denton; mother Barbara Denton; sons Myles and Zach Denton; granddaughters Harleigh and Aiyana Denton; sister Pamela Denton and brother David Denton.
A celebration of Rick’s life will be held at the Eagles January 30, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at 6410 N. Lidgerwood, Spokane, WA 99208.
