Obituary: Darrow, Dale Alan

Age 90

DARROW, Dale Alan Dale was born to Leo and Agnus Darrow on August 25, 1925 in Czar, a village in Alberta, Canada.

He passed away on November 19, 2015, at the age of 90.

He is survived by a sister, Beryl (Darrow) Richards and a brother, Leo Keith Darrow; two step-children, Frank McCoy and Marjorie Pashley; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Gertrude Darrow.

He was baptized November 8, 1950, as one of Jehovah Witnesses.

This proved to be the focal point of his life.

He spent many happy hours sharing his Bible knowledge with others.

Dale was known as an excellent student as well as teacher of the Bible.

For 21 years Dale faithfully volunteered at Airway Heights Correction Center.

Teaching the Bible’s promises for the future.

He received many awards for his efforts in their behalf.

Dale worked for KXLY for many years, starting in the late 50’s into the 60’s.

He also was self employed in direct sales as a Shaklee Distributor.

The family wants to thank all at the Community Living Center at the VA hospital for their care of him, it was much appreciated.

Dale was also known as a kind and generous man.

His faith in the Bible’s promise for the future always helped him have a positive attitude and helped him face any difficulties.

We hope this same hope for the future will help comfort and strengthen his family and dear friends.

We invite all to join us at his Memorial Service on Saturday, December 5th, at 2:00pm, at the Sunset Hill Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 4527 W. Garden Springs Road, Spokane, WA.
