Obituary: Pollock, Erma

Age 88

POLLOCK, Erma (Age 88) Of Spokane, Washington entered into rest Wednesday the 23rd of September.

Erma was born to Ida Irene and Glenn Williams in Sidney, Montana on December 13, 1926.

She graduated from Rogers High School and continued on to receive a Bachelor of Education from Eastern Washington University.

Erma went on to teach at Sheridan Elementary for 20 plus years until her retirement in 1988.

Erma wed John Pollock in1945 and they remained blissfully married until his death in 1995.

In 1997 Erma was introduced to Robert Kunzman and he remained her companion and life partner until his death in 2013.

Erma enjoyed a very active life traveling between her homes in Yuma, AZ.

during the winter months and her cabin at Priest Lake Idaho in the summer.

She enjoyed spending time at the casino, playing gin rummy, doing crossword puzzles.

Erma was a vivacious life force and will be remembered by the many friends and family whose life she touched.

All who have known her have had their lives indelibly marked by the strength and courage with which she lived.

We will all miss her deeply for the way she both loved and lived.

Erma is survived by her two brothers Harold (Virginia) and Russell (Diana) Williams, three grandchildren Natalie Pollock (Angela), April Korff (Tyler), and Grant Pollock (Andrea), and four great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Erma is preceded in death by her two children Glen and Greg Pollock.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 9th at 2pm at Hazen and Jaeger Valley Funeral Home, 1306 N. Pines Road, Spokane Valley, WA.
