Eastbound I-90 reopened at Division following accident

A wrong way driver caused a crash in the downtown area in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 90 early on Tuesday morning. UPDATE: 8:42 a.m. - The roadway is now open, the Washington State Patrol reported.

UPDATE: 7:47 a.m. - The right lane is now open, the WSP reported.

A driver headed the wrong way on Interstate 90 caused a four-car collision in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 90 at Division Street early Tuesday morning. There were injuries but no fatalities and traffic was backed up from Division to the Sunset Hill as the WSP investigated the crash. Traffic was being diverted around the scene on the right shoulder, the WSP said. A WSP news release said troopers do not know when that section of I-90 will be reopened.
