Obituary: Tveden, Emilia “Millie”
Age 94
Millie was born in Spokane, February 14, 1921, to Dominick and Vittora Gioia.
As a child she worked in the family business, Gioia Market, in Spokane Valley.
She loved BINGO, racehorse handicapping, tending to her rose bushes, watching Gonzaga basketball and the Seattle Mariners.
Millie was preceded in death by her parents; and sisters, Mary, Lee, Rose, and Yola.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Mel Tveden; daughter Janice (Mike) Odom; grandchildren, Melanie (Tim) Parratt, Michelle (Anthony) Ortez, and Conrad (Lois) Odom; great-grandchildren, Cody, Anthony, Lucas, and Levi; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, October 14, 2015, 11:00 AM, at Thornhill Valley Funeral Home.
