Finance

Robert Forster, of Forster Financial, has earned the Accredited Investment Fiduciary designation from the Center for Fiduciary Studies. Forster demonstrated specialized knowledge of fiduciary responsibility and the ability to implement a certain standard of policies and procedures to earn this designation.

Health care

Kevin Wright has joined the team of physical therapists at Physical Therapy Associates. Previously, Wright practiced orthopedic and sports physical therapy for two years in Edmonds, Washington. He earned his doctorate of physical therapy from Eastern Washington University in 2013.

Insurance

Mike Orlich has joined PayneWest Insurance as a commercial insurance sales executive. Orlich specializes in construction, manufacturing, retail, marketing and management. He previously owned a business for seven years.

Law

Lee & Hayes PLLC has named Dan Wadkins as a partner in the firm’s Spokane office. Wadkins is a part of the firm’s corporate practice group, trademark practice group, licensing practice group and wine, beer and spirits practice group. He earned his Juris Doctor from Gonzaga University School of Law and has been with the firm since 2009.

Dunn & Black P.S. has named trial attorneys Susan Nelson and Rick Wetmore as principals. Nelson practices primarily employment law litigation, complex civil litigation, business litigation and catastrophic injury litigation. Wetmore practices primarily construction litigation, complex civil litigation, business litigation, insurance coverage litigation and catastrophic injury litigation. In addition, Greg Jones has joined the firm as Of Counsel. Jones has experience in commercial disputes, construction litigation, defect claims for developers, general contractors and subcontractors, as well as personal injury claims.

Nonprofit

The National Ski Patrol organization has named Lookout Pass Ski Patrol as a recipient of the 2014-2015 Outstanding Alpine Patrol of the Year award for the Inland Empire Region. This is the third time the patrol has earned this award.

Amerigroup Washington has made a $10,000 donation to the Community Colleges of Spokane Foundation to feed Spokane students and community residents through on-campus mobile food pantries organized by Second Harvest Food Bank.

Retail

Etailz has hired Lucas Schneidmiller as an accounting intern, Christie Grassmyer as an employee ambassador and Amy Calkins as a compliance specialist.
