Feedback: Best trick-or-treating neighborhoods

 (Tribune News Service illustration)

We asked our Facebook friends to reveal the best trick-or-treating neighborhoods in the Inland Northwest. Here’s what they said.

Carrie Hubert

Our neighborhood around Westview Elementary (Moore St. @ Bismark Ave.) usually gets some pretty good traffic. I think a lot of folks drive in, park at the school, and then walk the kids around. Our neighbors get pretty into the decorating and there’s even a haunted house every year about one block down from the school on Moore!

Mike Vanderbosch

Corbin Park, houses around the park get 1,000 to 1,500 plus trick or treaters.

Alex Shaffer

Secret.

Cris G Moore Kaminskas

Liberty Lake near the elementary school is always jam packed

Mark Howard

Manito Blvd.

Georgiana Sutherlin

Corbin Park – Count last year – 1,100 to 1,500

Michelle Fix

Brown Mountain South Hill – my kid gets money and huge candy bars. Thank u South Hillions for your generosity!

Donna Fleming

Midelome out by Chester and Horizon Junior High off 32nd and Pines. It’s like a scene from ET.

Caitie Streeter

Fieldstone is pretty decent. In the northwest side [Cobblestone subdivision] there is a house who buys a ton of candy and hands it by the giant handful

Laurie Holdgate Cook

My neighborhood in Post Falls … they come by the car full. We had over 350 kids from 5 to 9. (Around Ponderosa Elementary School.)

Brandi Duran-Starr

Northwood off Argonne!

Adrienne Brancato Schneider

Manito Blvd. – we were told they had over 1200 last year and we only live one block from there lol and no one comes to our street they just stay on that road.

Shannon Kaye Evans

The mall!

Smith Ana

Mead, upper Gleneden

Jennaration Wrecks Carroll

I don’t know the answer for that BUT if you’re looking for a fun trick or treat event for your kids or pup check out the Spokane Humane Society’s Trunk or Treat.
