Anti-gun lobby deceives

Anti-gun lobby activists are now posing as gun owners before demanding harsh gun laws and Second Amendment revisions. These same deceivers helped pass Initiative 594, a gun registration and eventual gun confiscation measure disguised as a background checks bill.

These gun owners perpetuate the myth that the Second Amendment is about militias and make asinine claims that the Second Amendment is the cause of mass shootings.

Mickey Thompson (Aug. 5) says the National Rifle Association is blocking efforts to “update” the Second Amendment. To some, update means abolish.

Speaking of gun control extremists, NRA President Allan Cors said, “Their agenda always centers on denigrating and diminishing the liberty and rights of ordinary peaceable citizens.”
