Best bets on the Tube

The FBS college football season kicks off today. Here are two games to keep an eye on:

• Michigan at Utah (5:30 p.m., Fox Sports 1): The much-anticipated debut of the Jim Harbaugh era at Michigan kicks off in Salt Lake City against Utah. The Wolverines haven’t fared well in their recent previous nonconference road games (3-8) during the past 15 years.

• No. 2 TCU at Minnesota (6, ESPN): For the first time in school history, TCU will open a season ranked in the top five. The last time the Horned Frogs opened up a season ranked and on the road was 2011, a 50-48 loss to Baylor.
