(10) Florida State 59, Texas State 16: Everett Golson threw four touchdown passes in his FSU debut to help the Seminoles beat the Bobcats in Tallahassee, Florida.

North Carolina State 49, Troy 21: Matt Dayes ran for a career-high 126 yards and two TDs to help the Wolfpack beat the Trojans in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Appalachian State 49, Howard 0: Taylor Lamb completed 17 of 22 passes for 226 yards and four TDs to lead the Mountaineers over the Bison in Boone, North Carolina.

South Alabama 33, Gardner-Webb 22: In Mobile, Alabama, Xavier Johnson rushed for 121 yards and the Jaguars beat the Runnin’ Bulldogs in a game delayed in the first half by heavy rains.

West Virginia 44, Georgia Southern 0: Skyler Howard threw two touchdown passes in his first home start, Karl Joseph had three interceptions and the Mountaineers beat the Eagles in Morgantown, West Virginia.
