GOP’s pro-death platform

Do you vote for Republican candidates because you are pro-life? The pro-life GOP advocates for war as a solution to conflicts with other countries. War kills innocent civilians and rarely brings peace. Is war not the antithesis of valuing life?

These same folks who are so pro-life favor less-stringent gun laws and promote legal carrying of lethal weapons anytime, anywhere. Result: more gun accidents, more unnecessary deaths and more firearms in the hands of unstable people. Pro-life?

The GOP would like to abolish the EPA and regulations that protect people from harmful results of industrial activities. People die as a result. Is this pro-life? The Affordable Care Act saves lives by giving people access to medical care. The GOP wants to destroy this law with no viable alternative. People will die. Pro-life? The GOP wants to reduce or eliminate entitlement programs that feed people and provide housing and other needs. Is that pro-life?

There is little concern for life among Republicans. They simply want women to have fewer choices about directing their own lives by limiting their options. It’s veiled in the term pro-life, but the above examples are only part of the pro-death platform of the GOP.
