Dodson’s features ‘ghosts of places’ by Spokane-born painter
Dodson’s Jewelers in downtown Spokane is getting a jump on October with an early opening of its latest exhibit, featuring paintings by William Elston. Elston, who was born in Spokane, is returning for his first local show in 20 years. The works feature various Spokane landmarks and places, the “ghosts of places and people that formed the fabric of the life that I remember, I can still visit in my heart.” The show opens today with a reception from 5 to 8 p.m. The store is located at 516 W.
