Overview: Godspeed to Idaho’s rushing defense in this one. A week after being gashed by Wofford for 326 yards on the ground, albeit in a 41-38 win, the Vandals will play host to the top rushing attack in the Sun Belt Conference for their conference opener. The Eagles of Georgia Southern ran up 413 yards on Western Michigan and another 383 yards on The Citadel in back-to-back wins leading up to their trip to Moscow. Matt Linehan throwing a pick-six in the fourth quarter put an end to Idaho’s upset bid in Statesboro, Georgia, last season. Ball security will be key for him after throwing two interceptions against Wofford last week.
