Kinnear supports vital services

I am supporting Lori Kinnear for City Council because she is committed to public safety. She knows that fire and emergency services are perhaps the most important functions of local government. In 2012, the mayor slashed the budget for fire and emergency services to a dangerous level that endangered Spokane’s citizens and businesses. The mayor wants to slash public safety even more.

We need people on the City Council who recognize that not only does the level of service directly affect our safety; the level of fire and emergency services is one of the first things businesses look at when relocating to Spokane.

Spokane is on the cusp of having its fire service ratings downgraded. Not only are people endangered by the mayor’s reckless budget, insurance rates will skyrocket if the city does not adequately provide fire service.

Lori Kinnear has the skills and the experience to do what has to be done to leverage every tax dollar for maximum value. She is committed to keeping families safe, attracting and keeping businesses in Spokane. That is why I support Lori Kinnear, and I urge you to support her as well.
