Kinnear has vital experience

I am supporting Lori Kinnear for Spokane City Council because of her experience and knowledge of our city. I have worked with council members in a variety of jobs in the past, and I know it takes a long time to learn the job. Let’s make it easy and hire someone with the experience who can hit the ground running.

She is the most well-rounded candidate, with experience in government, private business and the nonprofit world. While the city doesn’t pay for a full-time position, it really is one. Anyone who has worked part-time will agree they work far more than expected. When a candidates says at forums that they will continue to work another job because the position is part-time, we are going to be short-changed. The meetings and responsibilities are not part-time.

I am also supporting Kinnear because of her work over the years. She started the community gardens, which is an essential part of our community. She understands the issues that affect the infrastructure in our community, like fire services, safe streets and strong neighborhoods. She has the experience that we need. Please join me in electing Lori Kinnear.
