Obituary: Montgomery, Todd William

Age 43

MONTGOMERY, Todd William (Age 43) Todd William Montgomery, of Greenacres, Washington passed away September 27, 2015 at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, Washington.

Todd was born June 7, 1972 in Anaheim, California to Thomas and Vicki (Dodd) Montgomery.

As a child Todd moved with his family to Moxee, Washington where he attended and graduated from East Valley High School in 1990.

He then went on to Washington State University where he first received a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and later a Master’s Degree in General Engineering Management.

After college he worked for United Dominion Realty Trust.

There he Met Dana Nevrly in 1999 and they were later married November 17, 2000.

They were married 14 years at his passing.

Todd later worked for Cisco Systems as a Systems Engineer until his passing.

He was an active member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Spokane Valley, Washington and also served with the Knights of Columbus.

He was an Eagle Scout as well as a Boy Scout Troop Leader.

Todd loved computers, target shooting, cooking, and hiking around Sprite Lake.

He was a dedicated Washington State Cougars fan.

He is survived by his loving wife Dana Montgomery of the family home in Greenacres, Washington; three children: Chase, Sara, and Noah Montgomery of Greenacres, Washington; his parents, Thomas and Vicki Montgomery of Naches, Washington; one brother Travis Montgomery of Spokane Valley, Washington; four nieces and nephews: Nolan, Brooks, Maggie, and Lucy of Downers Grove, Illinois; his grandmother Billie Montgomery of Alpine, Utah; two brothers-in-law, Anthony (Mary) Nevrly and Robert (Ernie Ritchey) Montgomery; and many other family members.

A Memorial Mass will be held Friday October 2nd, 2015 at St Mary’s Catholic Church 304 S. Adams Rd.

Spokane, Washington 99216 at 3:00 P.M.

The family suggests that memorials may be made to St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

Bell Tower Funeral Home of Post Falls, ID has been entrusted with arrangements.
