Obituary: Smith, Gary D.
He was born in Moscow, Idaho but grew up and lived most of his earlier life in Spokane, WA.
He worked for Burlington Northern Railroad and Murphy Brothers Construction Company for over 30 years.
Gary played semi-pro ice hockey in Spokane and Canada.
He is survived by his wife, Victoria; his children: Michelle Bockmier (Butch), Kristine Smith, Michael Smith, Scott Smith and Elizabeth Smith along with six granddaughters, four great-grandchildren; his brother George and stepsons Craig and Tony Labriola.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Gary on October 4, 2015 at The Inn at Gig Harbor, 3211 56th St. NW from 2 to 4 pm.
