Was enfolded in our Savior’s arms on April 5th, 2016 at Holy Family Providence Hospital after a brief illness.

She was born to Lee and Inez Conrad in Spokane, March 14, 1930.

She is preceded in death by her husband Warren Weston, sisters Margaret Reinbold, and Elizabeth Anderson, and great-granddaughter Elizabeth Goodwin.

She is survived by son Vernon Weston, his wife Cammie, daughter Kathryn Busby, her husband Rod, daughter Marilyn Marshall, her S/O Harold; grandchildren Anne Nord, Zachery Thiefault, Joe E. Busby, Nicole Busby, Daniel Busby, Betty Busby, Joey J. Busby, Emily Goodwin, James Goodwin; great-grandchildren Ethan, Eloise, Aramis, Tanner, Lily, Zander, Victoria, Jack, Ingrid, Victor, Tiffany, and Archer.
Florence was raised in Davenport, Washington, the daughter of a wheat farmer.

She was co-valedictorian of her Davenport High School class.

She married her high school sweetheart Warren.

While a devoted wife and a wonderful mother of three, she was active in her hometown Davenport with her church, Zion Lutheran, and 4-H/Extension Service.

Moving to Spokane in 1967, she worked as a bookkeeper, later retiring from Acme TV.

She was active at her church, St. Luke’s Lutheran in Spokane.

She served as a volunteer with Spokane County Sheriff S.C.O.P.E.

North for many years.

In her later years Florence was known for her remarkable energy.

She continued being a favorite “Grandma” and host to her family.

She enjoyed travel adventures, often joining her favorite cousin Mary Nolan with the Idaho Roadrunners, even making a long bus/train/ cruise while she was in her 80s.

She shared friendly card games, matinees and luncheons with friends and neighbors.

She was a valued historian of family and community events, with an amazing memory for names.

Most of all, Florence was generous with her support and time for those in need.

She was a treasured and wise “listening ear.”

She is deeply missed by all who knew her.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 8th, 12noon to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday, April 9th, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Funeral service Monday, April 11, 2016 at,10:00 a.m. at RIPLINGER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 4305 N. DIVISION, SPOKANE, WA .

Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.

A reception will follow at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church on North Division.

Mother loved flowers, but her favorite charity was St. Luke’s Lutheran Church who serve numerous missions.
