ZACHAU, Karen M.
Karen M. Zachau entered into rest March 4, 2016.
She was born January 20, 1948 in Seattle, WA to Lloyd and Esther (Torvanger) Zachau.
In Seattle, Karen attended Zion American Lutheran Church and Roosevelt High School, graduating in 1966.
She moved to Spokane with her brother in 1992.
She was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church, Spokane.
She sang in a local barbershop quartet and also with the Riversong Chorus directed by the late Bob Moyland.
Karen was a member of the Red Hat Society and Northeast Community Senior Center.
She enjoyed music, pets, ceramics, needle crafts and cards.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her brother, Gerald W. Zachau of Colville, IL; Angel Baby (her beloved kitty); neighbors at the O’Malley Apartments and other friends.
The funeral is Monday, April 11th at 10:30am, at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 4620 N. Regal, Spokane.
