Spokane Guilds’ School to hold 20th annual Penny Drive

The Spokane Guilds’ School and Neuromuscular Center will hold its 20th annual Penny Drive to raise funds for the organization on April 23.

Local high school students and other volunteers will collect pennies at locations around the Spokane region. In the past 19 years, the Penny Drive has raised more than $3.2 million on behalf of the school, which provides therapy to babies and toddlers with development disabilities.

Donations will be accepted from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the following locations:

Spokane

Windermere North at Country Homes Boulevard, just west of Division Street

Francis Avenue and Nevada Street

Francis Avenue and Ash/Maple Street

North Division Street and East Hastings Road

Spokane Guilds’ School, 2118 W. Garland Ave.

Monroe Street and Indiana Avenue/Northwest Boulevard

Mission Avenue and Hamilton Street

29th Avenue and Grand Boulevard

57th Avenue and Regal Street

Spokane Valley

Sprague Avenue and Sullivan Street

Liberty Lake

Liberty Lake Road and East Country Vista Drive

Cheney

Cheney Masonic Center, at College Avenue and First Street

EWU’s Roos Field, at Washington and Elm streets
