Mom was preceded in death by husband, Roger, her parents, and 10 brothers and sisters.

She passed away peacefully in Spokane leaving her two sons, Bari (Trina) of Lincoln City, OR, Lynn (Sherry) of Foothills, three granddaughters, Shannon Johnson of Averill Park, NY, Charlyn (Kyle) Dalvit of Bellingham, WA, Renee (Scott) Shaw and two great-grandchildren, Benjamin and Esme Shaw of Spokane.
Mom was born in Wibaux, MT, to Orin and Mary Bolser.

They moved to Pleasant Prairie, Spokane in 1935 where she graduated from West Valley High School in 1941.

Julia Bolser married Roger Johnson on August 16, 1941.

They were married for 72 years and raised two sons, Bari and Lynn, in the Spokane area.
Mom especially enjoyed her years in sales, working in the men’s department at both the Bon Marche and Crescent.

She was also active for years in the Phi Sigma Alpha Sorority and as an assistant Cub Scout den mother while her boys were young.

She volunteered at Deaconess Hospital for many years.

She loved doing ceramics and arts and crafts.

Mom and dad enjoyed fishing and camping and in their later years traveling in their motorhome.

Mom and dad were members of the Millwood Presbyterian Church.
Celebration of Julia’s life will be held at the Millwood Presbyterian Church at 2 PM, Saturday, April 23, 2016.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Millwood Presbyterian Church or the Pleasant Prairie Cemetery.
