Idaho Fish and Game is bringing fishing to the people in a trailer packed with fishing rods, reels and bait.

Several times a week through June, staff and volunteers will open the Take Me Fishing trailer to the public. The fishing gear and helpful advice is loaned at no charge to kids and novice adults so they can give the sport a try.

No fishing license is required while fishing with the gear.

Last week, the Post Falls Cabela’s presented $3,800.00 to the Panhandle Region’s Take Me Fishing program. The money was raised from customers who choose to round their purchase up to the nearest dollar to support local conservation, youth education and advocacy programs.
