One more day with highs in the lower 80s is expected on Thursday, but that likely will fall below the record of 87 for the date set in 1906.
Tuesday brought the first reading of 80 degrees of the season in Spokane.
Temperatures will drop to the upper 70s on Friday and then lower 60s on Saturday and Sunday. The change will bring a likelihood of showers and gusty winds over the weekend.
