DON’T MISS: “Game of Thrones” – So just how dead is Jon Snow (Kit Harington)? That’s one of the key questions loyal devotees are asking as the Emmy-winning fantasy epic returns for its hotly anticipated sixth season. The opener takes us to Castle Black and picks up just moments after the brutal attack on the Lord Commander of the Night’s Watch. Meanwhile, all over Westeros, the danger is mounting for many of our beloved characters from George R.R. Martin’s novels. 9 p.m. Sunday, HBO.

Other bets

SUNDAY: Poor Richard Hendricks (Thomas Middleditch). As Season 3 of “Silicon Valley” gets underway, our dweeby hero has been ousted as CEO of Pied Piper, the company he started, and what looked to be a bright future is suddenly very muddled. 10 p.m., HBO.

SUNDAY: Season 5 of “Veep” begins on the morning after Election Day with President Selina Meyer (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) locked in an Electoral College tie. Now, everyone in the White House is freaking out, including Meyer, whose face has sprouted a hideous stress pimple. 10:30 p.m., HBO.

MONDAY: Sometimes it’s hell being the devil. In tonight’s season finale of “Lucifer,” our title character (Tom Ellis) is framed for murder and works with Chloe (Lauren German) to find the real killer. 9 p.m., Fox.

MONDAY: Season 3 of the Revolutionary War drama “Turn: Washington’s Spies” kicks off tonight and promises to build toward one of the most notorious moments in American history – the traitorous defection of Benedict Arnold (Owain Yeoman). 10 p.m., AMC.

TUESDAY: “Limitless” wraps up its freshman season with Brian (Jake McDorman) and the FBI out to prevent an NZT-enabled Sands (Colin Salmon) from orchestrating an international incident. Unfortunately, Brian experiences devastating side effects as his NZT immunity starts to wear off. 10 p.m., CBS.

TUESDAY: After weeks of culinary throw-downs on “Chopped: Champions,” a returning winner will capture $50,000 during the grand finale – but not before one last dessert round. 10 p.m., Food Network.

WEDNESDAY: “The Americans” continues its highly compelling run with an episode that has both the KGB and FBI racing to track down the same very vital agent. Meanwhile, we’re still mad at the show for killing off you-know-who. 10 p.m., FX.

THURSDAY: Guest-star alert: Garry Marshall, the funny man who originally created “The Odd Couple” for TV back in the 1970s, drops by the current version of the show. He plays Oscar’s (Matthew Perry) father. 8:30 p.m., CBS.

FRIDAY: “W. Kamau Bell: Semi-Prominent Negro” is a new stand-up special shot in Brooklyn and directed by Morgan Spurlock. It has the comedian who specializes in sociopolitical material riffing on subjects ranging from gentrification and marriage equality to raising his family in a post-Obama nation. 10 p.m., Showtime.

SATURDAY: The 2016 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony is a celebration of music royalty, mixed with some occasionally interesting speeches. This year’s inductees are Cheap Trick, Chicago, N.W.A., Steve Miller and Deep Purple. 8 p.m., HBO.
