Passed away April 17, 2016 in Davenport, WA his home Reardan, WA.

He is survived by his two sons Andrew Theis and Darryl Theis; four grandchildren Darryl, Tyler, Destiny and Hannah; his brother, Dave Theis; and two sisters Carolyn Curry and Donna Theis; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Jim is preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Ruth Theis and one brother Eddie Theis.

James worked at the plywood mill for Boise Cascade for many years and has been a newspaper delivery person for the last 23 years.

Jim enjoyed westerns, shooting, working on cars and bicycles and collecting model cars.

Funeral services for Jim will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at 3:00 PM at Hazen & Jaeger Funeral Home, 1306 N. Pines, Spokane Valley, WA.

Interment will follow at the Pines Cemetery, Spokane Valley, WA.

Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
