Trump only loves himself

It’s become very clear that Donald Trump does not understand or appreciate any aspect of our hard-won military ethos built over more than 250 years in this country. He apparently dodged the draft five times in his younger days; has said he knows more about ISIS than our in-country experienced generals; has said he could fix the vastly complex VA operations with one call from the White House; has totally disrespected John McCain’s ordeal as a POW and most recently Captain Khan, a Muslim who was KIA in our country’s service.

I fought and bled in Vietnam with my black, Hispanic, Muslim, Jewish, etc., brothers and can’t imagine how any experienced veteran of the teamwork required in combat (or in almost all other human endeavors) could consider a clueless blowhard like Trump remotely appropriate to become our commander in chief.

He is totally in love with himself-passionately, outspokenly, unbelievably — at the expense of anyone and everyone else. His style represents the frightening opposite of the leadership required for success in our armed forces and on the ever-more-complex world stage.
