Wedding anniversary: Davenport couple mark 70th year

Leroy and Anita Abbott celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary with a family gathering on Sunday.

Hosts for the event included their children: Jerry Abbott and Linda Armbruster, both of Poulsbo, Washington.

The couple were married Aug. 28, 1946, in Thompson Falls, Montana. They have four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
