Ignore protesters

Fellow Americans, and by that I mean all of us who are willing to accept the results of our democratic process whether we personally like them or not: The children are in the streets protesting, demonstrating and now they’re burning American flags. I know that is particularly annoying, especially to those of us who have served, and that is precisely why they do it. However, it is also one of the constitutional rights that we pledged to “support and defend.”

How do you deal with spoiled brats throwing temper tantrums? You ignore them. And when they recognize that no one is paying any attention, they’ll go home. Then their overly indulgent parents and schools can suffer them. In time they, too, will grow up. So grit your teeth and remember, not so much as a tweet.
