Political offspring Abby Huntsman named co-host of ‘Fox & Friends Weekend’ show

Abby Huntsman, the daughter of Republican former Utah governor and onetime presidential candidate Jon Huntsman, has been named co-host of Fox News Channel’s morning show “Fox & Friends Weekend.”

Huntsman, 30, was previously a Fox correspondent and co-host of MSNBC’s “The Cycle.”

The move, announced by Fox on Tuesday, further solidifies the path to plum TV gigs for the kids of pols: Huntsman joins “Outnumbered” co-host Meghan McCain, the daughter of Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., at the network, and then there’s NBC “Today” show co-host Jenna Bush Hager, the daughter of former president George W. Bush.
