Coeur d’Alene police seek public’s help in locating North Idaho shooting suspect
The Coeur d’Alene Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a man accused of shooting another man in North Idaho sometime last week.
The suspect, identified as Chad Everett Tipton, 31, of Post Falls, is white and about 5 feet 11 inches tall and 160 pounds, with brown hair, blue eyes and numerous tattoos on his arms and upper body, according to a department news release.
Tipton is sought in connection with the shooting of a man who was checked into Kootenai Health about 8 a.m. Thursday with non-life-threatening injuries. Tipton is considered armed and dangerous, the release said.
Police are asking anyone with information on Tipton’s whereabouts to contact the Coeur d’Alene Police Department at (208) 769-2320, or their local law enforcement agency.
A reward may be offered for information leading to Tipton’s arrest, the release said.
