Democracy is imperiled

I don’t know where or how to start expressing my incredulity concerning Gregory Ruff’s letter (“Clinton’s views exposed,” Dec. 3). How does one come to believe the news media are controlled by Democrats as a whole or the National Enquirer is the sole source of unbiased and truthful reporting? The National Enquirer is what is known as a tabloid. They survive by gullible people who believe as Ruff.

Those who voted for Donald Trump have opened the door to the end of our democracy, and maybe, possibly opened the door to the war to end all wars. No matter how you feel about Hillary Clinton, she was the best choice; if only because she is less likely to push the button than the impetuous Donald.
