Zags ranked sixth, seventh in major polls

Gonzaga stayed at No. 7 in AP Top 25 for the second consecutive week but moved up one notch to No. 6 in the USA Today rankings.

Arizona (11-2), which lost to Gonzaga in Los Angeles, is No. 18, followed by Saint Mary’s of the WCC at 19 in both polls. Florida, which lost to GU in the Advocare Invitational semifinals in Orlando, is No. 25 in the AP Top 25.

Gonzaga opens its WCC schedule against visiting Pepperdine on Thursday before visiting Pacific in Stockton on New Year’s Eve.
