Multiple crashes slow westbound traffic on I-90

Two collisions on Interstate 90 backed up westbound traffic into Spokane Monday morning.

Two-car collisions near the Hamilton and Freya Street exits around 8 a.m. partially blocked the westbound lanes, the Washington State Patrol said in a news release.

WSP spokesman Trooper Jeff Sevigney said there were no serious injuries from the crashes.

“It doesn’t take much in the morning and that messes up traffic,” he said.
