Photo: Winner of MAC contest takes home giant Lego figure

A truly grand prize: Mark Webber, left, helps load a giant Lego figure into a truck at the Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture, where Ainsley Bauer, 14, center, came with her mother, Heidi Bauer, to pick up the foam figure Monday. The figure, which sat above the museum entrance during the show, is part of Ainsley’s prize for winning the top award in the recently completed Lego exhibit. Ainsley’s creation was a record player made of Lego blocks. Besides getting the Lego man, she won a $500 gift certificate for White Elephant and a $150 gift certificate for Target. Webber is facilities manager for the museum. (Jesse Tinsley / The Spokesman-Review)
