Woman killed in head-on crash near Pinehurst

An 86-year-old woman died in a head-on collision Sunday evening near Pinehurst, Idaho.

Phyllis B. Craddick, of Pinehurst was driving eastbound in the westbound lanes of Interstate 90 near milepost 46 east of Pinehurst, Idaho State Police said in a news release. She collided with Jasmine James, 17, of Kingston, Idaho, who was driving westbound, around 7:45 p.m.

Craddick died at the scene, ISP said. James was injured and transported to Shoshone Medical Center. The collision blocked the roadway for three hours.
