BOURNE, Harry R. (Dick)
86 Years Old

Born in Nebraska to Harry and Myrne Bourne, March 25, 1929.

Surrounded by loved ones, Dick passed away February 1, 2016 in Spokane, WA.

He was an amazing husband, father, grandfather and brother to his large extended family.

The memory of his love and generosity will forever be cherished and missed by all that were lucky enough to know him.

Dick and his family moved to Spokane in his teen years.

He graduated from Mead High School, where he met and married the love of his life, Dorothy Sicilia, in August of 1948.

They are survived by their three daughters: Vickie (Randy) Bunke, Patti (Rich) Beal and Joanie (Richard) Hunt.

Dick also took great pride in his six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

For many years after their retirement, Dick and Dorothy enjoyed embarking on new adventures in their motor- home along with family and friends.

Dick is preceded in death by his loving wife of 67 years, Dorothy; his brother, Lloyd Bourne; and his mother and father.

He is also survived by two brothers, Harold and Howard Bourne; and sister, Betty Little.


Services will be held at Heritage Funeral Home on February 16, 2016 at 11:00 a.m.

He will then be laid to rest at Fairmount’s Spokane-Cheney Memorial Gardens Cemetery beside his wife, in a private graveside service.
