CCS men fall to Big Bend

Mogga Lado scored 26 points on 11-of-20 shooting and added 11 rebounds and three assists as Big Bend beat Community Colleges of Spokane 91-77 in a Northwest Athletic Conference regular-season finale Saturday in Moses Lake.

Jai Jai Ely added 20 points and Wyatt Johnson chipped in four 3-pointers and 18 points for the Vikings (23-7, 13-1).

The Sasquatch (25-5, 11-3) were led by Levi Taylor and Jake Love, who scored 20 and 18, respectively.

Big Bend made 17 of 21 free throws, including 13 of their 14 second-half attempts, to hold off CCS. Next up for both teams is the first round of the NWAC tournament, which starts on Saturday. CCS will host a first-round game.
