1. Spokane Symphony Classics 5: Love Hurts

Experience a musical journey of passion and emotion, featuring “Don Juan” by Richard Strauss, Jennifer Higdon’s “blue cathedral,” Sergei Prokofiev’s “Romeo and Juliet” and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s stormy Piano Concerto No. 20. The concert features guest pianist Alon Goldstein. Eckart Preu conducts. Attend free talks with the conductor and guest artist one hour before the concert.

3. Tribal Seeds

4. ‘All My Sons’

Based on a true story, this American classic is one of Arthur Miller’s greatest masterpieces. This much-lauded play centers on a family torn apart by the father’s business dealings.

When: Friday through Feb. 7; performances are Thursdays-Saturdays at 7:30 p.m.; Sundays at 2 p.m.

5. ‘The Book of Mormon’

Winner of nine Tony Awards, this musical is the blockbuster Broadway smash from “South Park” creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone. This biting satire centers on two missionaries from the LDS church sent to a war-torn and AIDS-riddled African nation, where they must find their own way. Contains adult language and situations. Part of the 2015-16 Best of Broadway season.

When: Tuesday through Jan. 31; shows are Jan. 26-29 at 7:30 p.m.; Jan. 30 at 2 and 7:30 p.m.; and Jan. 31 at 1 and 6:30 p.m.

6. Take Me Back to Tekoa

Jazz music with Julia Keefe to benefit the Friends of the Empire Theatre, a nonprofit organization working to preserve Tekoa’s iconic art deco theater.

7. Inland Northwest RV Show and Sale

The largest RV indoor event in this area returns for its 27th year. Local dealers will bring trailers, campers, fifth wheels and motor homes, plus related travel and camping vendors.
