Free enterprise trampled

Kudos to Mike Fagan for being the only Spokane City Council member who understands free enterprise. It’s a slippery slope toward communism when the government can control how private business is run. Job benefits need to be left up to companies and unions to work out.

The City Council has overstepped its authority when members think they can dictate how business owners run their businesses. Fagan is evidently the only councilman who understands how dangerous it is when we allow the government to start taking over businesses.

The council apparently has gotten out of control. It’s time to throw them out and get some replacements with common sense like Fagan’s.
