Six Flags amusement park closed after receiving threat

UPPER MARLBORO, Md. – Authorities say Six Flags America in Prince George’s County is closed after the park received a bomb threat.

County Fire Department spokesman Mark Brady tweeted Wednesday morning that county fire and police are at the amusement park in Upper Marlboro while the bomb squad investigates a suspicious package.

Park spokesman Roberto Baez says the park, which usually opens at 10:30 a.m., received a bomb threat Wednesday morning and the park is currently closed. He did not have any other details.
