Shooting on lower South Hill results in minor injuries

A person received a minor gunshot wound in a Sunday morning shooting near the intersection of Cedar Street and Sixth Avenue on Spokane’s lower South Hill, police said.

No one has been arrested or charged in the shooting, Spokane police Sgt. M. Jordan Ferguson said.

The victim was treated at a hospital and released, Ferguson said.

The shooting happened around 5 a.m. Major Crimes detectives interviewed witnesses and participants and collected evidence from the scene.
