North Idaho Cider celebrates first anniversary

North Idaho Cider is throwing an anniversary party Saturday – and you’re invited.

Owners Matt Peterson, Keith Allen and Jeff Selle make dry hard cider from freshly pressed Washington apples. The cidery features six ciders. Its regular tasting room hours are 4-8 p.m. on Friday and 2-8 p.m. on Saturday.

The one-year anniversary party runs from 1 to 9 p.m at the cidery, 11100 N. Airport Road, Bays Five and Six, in Hayden. The event features live music, beer from Mad Bomber Brewing and food from Fire Artisan Pizza. A free charcoal grilling class starts at 1 p.m. with pitmasters David Hart of Hired Grill and Selle, who also co-owns the cidery.
