Construction

Pioneer Waterproofing Inc. has hired Steve Parmentier as a project manager on the Spokane/Inland Northwest Region team. Parmentier has extensive experience in several areas of building repair and maintenance.

Education

Courtney Law has been named by Gonzaga University as the director of the Regional Health Partnership with the University of Washington, effective Aug. 1. Previously, Law was an associate director of entrepreneurship and innovation with Life Science Washington.

Engineering

DCI Engineers has hired James Jarvis and Dylan Larson as structural project engineers and Sam Shastany as a civil project engineer. Jarvis has three years of experience in construction. Larson has previous experience in aerospace and construction. Shastany previously interned with the firm.

Womer and Associates, Inc. has named Rick Mathews as the new president of the firm. The previous president and company founder, William Womer, has accepted a two-year term on the Tribal Council with the Confederated Tribes of the Colville Indian Reservation. Mathews has been with the firm for 14 years and previously served as the vice president and co-owner.

Finance

BDO USA, LLP has promoted Tara Pendleton from assurance senior manager to West region audit quality director. Pendleton has been with the firm for 12 years.

Angela Erickson has joined Idaho Independent Bank as vice president and commercial loan officer at the Coeur d’Alene branch. Erickson has 25 years of experience in banking.

Law

Molly Moffett will join Winston & Cashatt as an associate attorney practicing primarily civil and commercial litigation, effective Aug. 1. Moffett was previously an assistant attorney general representing the Department of Child Safety in Phoenix, Arizona.

Hector Quiroga of Quiroga Law Office PLLC has been named a 2016 Super Lawyers Rising Star by Super Lawyers magazine in immigration law. Super Lawyers recognizes attorneys based on a high level of peer recognition and professional achievement. Quiroga also serves as an adjunct professor at Gonzaga University School of Law.

Kristina Ploeger has been selected as the Spokane Symphony Chorale’s music director. Ploeger serves as an associate professor and director of choral activities at Eastern Washington University. Prior to that, she was the artistic director of the Spokane Area Youth Choirs, previously the Spokane Area Children’s Chorus.
