History takes wing at Felt Field Neighbor Day celebration

Plane lovers will be flying high at Felts Field’s sixth annual Neighbor Day on Saturday.

Visitors will be able to tour classic airplanes, including the B-25 Mitchell and the P-51 Mustang. The free event runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and also features flyovers and displays of antique, classic and commercial aircraft, as well as food trucks.

Rides in a helicopter, B-25 Mitchell or a biplane will be available for a fee.

Felts Field is at 6105 E. Rutter Ave. in Spokane. The festivities run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
