Fast and Easy 501c3 Tax Exemption - The new Form 1023 EZ is a short online application for nonprofits to obtain 501c3 tax-exemption. There are limitations on which nonprofits can use the EZ form and risks involved in using it. Presented by Stephen Faust of Faust Law. Two CLE Credit approval pending for attorneys. Be the Entrepreneur Bootcamp 2016 Community Events – The public is invited to attend two free events that are part of Palouse Knowledge Corridor’s Be The Entrepreneur Bootcamp. Palouse Pitch will be held Tuesday, 7-9 p.m., EMSI, 409 S. Jackson St., Moscow. This event is dedicated to community members polishing their business pitches and receiving feedback from fellow entrepreneurs, as well as providing a networking opportunity. The Palouse Challenge will be held Thursday, noon-2:30 p.m., SEL Event Center, 1825 Schweitzer Drive, Pullman. At this event, witness a Shark Tank-style presentation, where regional investors will hear the refined business plan pitches of the 2016 BTE Bootcamp Crucible winners. Five Mile Small Business Saturday - A community event for small business owners to share their fare with the community in and around the Five Mile Prairie.
